Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By accessing or using EchoStack ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service Description
EchoStack is a mobile attribution platform that:
- Tracks ad clicks via tracking links and redirects
- Attributes app installs to advertising campaigns
- Forwards conversion events to ad networks via server-to-server APIs
- Provides analytics and reporting through a web dashboard
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One organization account per entity (no duplicate accounts)
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
- Generate fraudulent clicks, installs, or events
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
- Reverse-engineer the matching algorithm or scoring system
- Share API keys with unauthorized parties
- Use the Service to track users without appropriate legal basis or consent
5. Data Responsibilities
You (the customer) are the data controller for end-user data processed through EchoStack. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process user data
- Providing appropriate privacy disclosures to your app users
- Configuring SDK integrations in compliance with applicable privacy laws
- Responding to data subject access and deletion requests from your users
6. Beta Period
During the beta period:
- The Service is provided free of charge
- Features may change without notice
- We do not guarantee specific uptime or SLA during beta
- We may limit usage at our discretion (e.g., 10,000 matched installs/month)
- The beta period will end with 30 days notice before paid plans are required
7. API Keys & SDK
- API keys are confidential. Do not embed them in client-side code that's publicly visible
- You may use our SDKs (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter) under the MIT License
- Rate limits apply: 1,000 requests/minute for SDK endpoints, 100 requests/minute for dashboard API
8. Intellectual Property
The EchoStack platform, dashboard, and proprietary matching engine are owned by EchoStack. The SDKs are open-source under the MIT License. Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over your app data, event data, or analytics.
9. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ECHOSTACK IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 during the free beta period).
10. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Settings
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days email notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
